Sporonox - (Itraconazole)

This medicine is made by Janssen-Ortho and is an antifungal agent used to treat fungal infections. Sporonox is an oral anti-fungal agent which is useful in a variety of different fungal infections such as histoplasmosis and blastomycosis. Sporonox will remain in the tissues of he nail for up to 28 days after discontinuation of the therapy, and does not enter into the brain.
